It's been crazy hectic lately. Good things are going on though! I made really cool new songs with Renske Taminiau, Sanguita and Cato van Dijck (The Souldiers) for my solo album and I'm busy with the last recordings right now. Next week I will start with mixing and arranging all of the tracks.
Also the full Perquisite live band is formed! We've already started rehearsing and the first try-out shows have been booked. September 18th we'll play in Rotown, Rotterdam and September 30th we'll play in Merleyn, Nijmegen. Tickets for Merleyn are already being sold by clicking here. Expect the unexpected!
The official release party will take place in Amsterdam, after which we'll embark on a tour through Holland, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. More on that soon!
Besides all that I'm working on the film music for Mama right now, a new film by Sanne Vogel and Beri Shalmashi. The film will be premiered at the Dutch Film Festival in Utrecht this September. But more on that later!
Speaking on movie's: Carmen van het Noorden, where I composed the music for as you might now, has been selected for the 6th Jecheon International Music & Film Festival which will take place this August in Korea. Sounds interesting, right?
That's it for now. Stay tuned!
