Kris and I wrote a song called 'Birds On Branches' especially for the 'Night of the Refugee', a Dutch charity event organising a walk from Rotterdam to the Hague on the 29th of May to raise awareness for the current refugee crisis in Syria. We performed the track for the first time on Dutch talk show 'Pauw & Witteman' last Wednesday. The track will be released as a single on the 5th of May, which is also the date of the Dutch national holiday Freedom Day. On Freedom day we will play the song, and many more, at the 'Bevrijdingspop' festivals in Utrecht and the Hague. For more info check out the 'Shows'-section on the Kris & Perq website!
