Needless to say, the current global situation required a rewiring of our daily activities. Jeangu Macrooy, who I creatively collaborate with and manage, was supposed to represent The Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020, which, along with his theatre tour of The Netherlands, was cancelled for obvious reasons. However, we're making the most of it and have done really cool things in the meantime, like the release of two live versions of his song 'Grow', along with a video (recorded at Concertgebouw, Amsterdam - a legendary location), and a Kingsday concert i.c.w. de Staatsloterij. However, we are happy to announce that Jeangu will get his shot at Eurovision next year!
I am also busy with composing and recording the final music for the movie ‘Buiten Is Het Feest’ by Jelle Nesna, starring Abbey Hoes, alongside Georgina Verbaan and Eelco Smits. The movie is based on the book by Arthur Japin. Hoping we'll be allowed into cinemas again soon!
